Take Away Tai Chi was created in 2009 to offer a new flexible programme of authentic Yang style Tai Chi. It’s designed so that you can work at your own pace in class and then Take Away the Tai Chi techniques that work for you, helping you stay relaxed and energised in your busy daily activities at work or home. Many of the techniques that you will learn such as posture alignment, breathing techniques, joint mobilisation exercises and tips for improving your concentration and focus can be used every day
Tai Chi also has many benefits that have been scientifically verified for specific health conditions such as Arthritis, Diabetes and Asthma.
But more than anything else, learning Tai Chi is an exercise art form that's relaxing, fun and with a hint of martial arts defence techniques that can challenge the body and the mind.

About Sue West, proprietor of Take Away Tai Chi
Sue practices Yang style Tai Chi and specializes in teaching beginners both the Tai Chi Form and Tai Chi Meditation. She has a background in yoga and dance as well as Tai Chi and brings a new flexible approach to learning Tai Chi while retaining the essence of the traditional authentic art Form of Yang style Tai Chi.
She is enthusiastic about demonstrating that while Tai Chi is an easy to learn exercise art form that can benefit everyone, it still works every part of the body in a gentle and relaxing way.
After escaping from the Corporate world in 1998, Sue started learning Wu style Tai Chi, then converted to Yang style and initially qualified as an Instructor with The Australian Academy of Tai Chi (established in Australia since 1976) under Grand Master Khor.
She is a member of the Tai Chi Association of Australia.
